He headed for Coco Chanel who was a Nazi sympathizer rich bitch coverup piece of shit, and was lauded by Anna Wintour, another racist piece of shit. They revitalized every company they worked for, invented the cardigan, and transformed fashion media respectively.

Weirdly enough, people, yes even artists, are fucking problematic.

Do not come at me with the Met Gala being an extravagant eat the rich situation. This silly party funds the Costume Institute, regular non-rich people getting to do historical work in an area that is still to this day considered "women's stuff" and of no value. It is the only part of the Met that must entirely fund itself, and has only not only survived, but under Wintour, thrived.

I am so very tired of people who are otherwise thoughtful and insightful deciding that because the Met Gala is photographed so much and has celebrities that they can describe it has pointless.

I also am so very tired of Met Gala themes being a mess. This year was a poor choice but that is nothing new, they did "House of Chanel" in 2005.
